چکیده

Enzyme Kinetics, ATPases, 31P-NMR, 180-Exchange, Enzyme Mechanism Enzymes causing an exchange of oxygens from P\ with the surrounding water oxygens are very common. A statistical model for the data evaluation for an observation of this oxygen exchange by isotope methods is presented. It is shown how different cases of inequivalence o f the four Pi oxygens may be uncovered. The number of reversals of the oxygen exchange step on the enzyme and the apparent second order rate constant for the binding of Pi to the enzyme are obtained as a result of the data fitting procedure. Cobalt phosphatase, zinc phosphatase, and myosin subfragment 1 are treated as examples.

The Mechanism of ATP Hydrolysis Catalyzed

During ATP hydrolysis, myosin or subfragment 1 catalyzes the exchange of oxygens between water and phosphate, so that on average, each product Pi molecule contains more than one oxygen atom derived from water. Using quenched-flow techniques, the exchange process in both ATP and Pi was studied in the rabbit skeletal muscle subfragment 1 ATPase. The exchange in protein-bound ATP (M**ATP) and prot...

Comparison of thermodynamics and kinetics of reaction of the ozone with mercury, silver and gold

In this work, we report results of calculations based on the density functional theory of different species metal-ozone, containing mercury, silver and gold. The chosen species range from small molecules and large transition-metal containing ozone with mercury, silver and gold complexes. A comparative analysis of the description of the metal-oxygen bond obtained by different methodologies is pr...

Adsorption of ozone molecules on AlP-codoped stanene nanosheet: A density functional theory study

Density functional theory calculations were carried out to investigate the structural and electronicproperties of the adsorption of O3 molecules on AlP-codoped monolayers to fully exploit the gas sensingcapability of these two-dimensional materials. Various adsorption sites of O3 molecule on the considerednanosheets were examined in detail. The side oxygen atoms of the O3 mole...

Mutual interplay between interactions of pi electrons with simultaneous σ-hole interactions: A computational Study

In this study, the role of interaction of pi electrons on the strength of simultaneous σ-hole interactions (pnicogen, chalcogen and halogen bonds) is investigated using the quantum chemical calculations. X-ben||TAZ∙∙∙Y1,Y2,Y3 complexes (X = CN, F, Cl, Br, CH3 , OH and NH2, TAZ= s-triazine and Y1,Y2 and Y3 denotes PH2F, HSF, and ClF molecules) is introduced as a model. The results show that inte...
